it's our commuincation with God. not just any communication, but communication with words. the same way He brought the world into existance, the same way He molded the world the way He wanted, the same way He brought life into the word. That's the same way He chose for us to communicate to Him.

we have all heard it a million times...if you don't talk to your husband/wife, gf/bf, BFFE, it's not good! the relationship suffers, the mind wanders, you start to think all sorts of things. did i do this? did i do that? maybe they got mad when i said...

why would be treat our relationship with our Maker, our Heavenly Father any different?

we have to talk to God, we want to talk to God, we need to talk to God, to grow closer, to pray for others, to worship, to enter into His Holy Presence

I have found that when I am in prayer with GOD, I am not thinking about all the problems and struggles I have. I don't worry as much. I find such peace through that intimate time of communion. We like to fellowship with each other and hang out with each other. Well, GOD wants us to fellowship with HIM and hang out with HIM. We are and were created to have a personal relationship with HIM. It is very important that we don't put our relationship with our spouse, significant other, parents, siblings, best friends before our relationship with GOD. "Pray without ceasing."

prayer is to acknowledge God. Not to pray is Denial of God, a denial of His existence, a denial of His nature, and a denial of His purposes toward mankind.
