keep it real

The more I study the life of Christ the more I love Him. Why? Because Christ was what he claimed to be. Christ, unconditionally loved people. Many people take claim to doing the same but in reality are most of the time self promoters taking a shallow stance when put in a situation when one is actually different than they are. By nature we are tribal people, usually gravitating to those who we can relate to the most. Those, who are like we are. We separate (to a specific tribe) so often, and are divided by: Style of Music, clothing, social status, race, north and south, part of town one is from, denomination, economic status, ect. that we belong to... We tend to treat people differently according to what category we may rank in, or what tribe we fall into. The one thing it has taken myself so long to understand is, that God has created all, regardless of what tribe we consider ourselves to be part of, and he has called us (Christians)(Christ Followers) to do exactly that, to follow HIM. To live in Him and for us to allow Him to live in us.

Christ love is unconditional. Christ Loves the poor and rich the SAME. Christ loves the same regardless of skin color, and ethnic background. His love is deep. So much deeper than the shallow love that says, I love you as long as you agree with me. Christ loved, whether they agreed with Him or not. Christ loved NO MATTER WHAT! I have heard many say that peace and love is just a hippie thing. If I read my Bible correctly, true peace and love IS NOT A HIPPIE thing! It is a GOD THING!

Any Question read this:

Psalms 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

Psalms 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Mark 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Luke 6:32-38 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Luke 20:45-47 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples, Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Romans 14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

James 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

James 5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
I could keep going but I think we all understand. WE NEED TO SPEAK WHEN GOD SPEAKS AND BE SILENT WHERE HE IS SILENT!
