Opening Night @ Baltimore Christian College

What a night!!! God blesses us with almost 40 students for our first session. Praise the Lord!!! God is good!!! Pastor preached a great sermon "A Holy Calling". All of the classes went well, there is no doubt God's hand is on our ministry. Please be in prayer as we continue to grow and press forward for the cause of Christ. TO GOD BE THE GLORY GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!!!

The Ministry

People are the ministry!

The greatest gift we can give people is to pray for them. Paul said in Romans 1:11-13: I want to see you! I want to edify you! I want to fellowship with you! I want to help you! This is what ministering is all about. Ask yourself: Am I ministering? Do I want to see them? Do I want to edify them? Do I want to fellowship with them? Do I want to help them?

God is sooooo good!

God is so good to us in yasm! this is for all of you who are not all of the way in! God wants to use you! He wants not just to minister to you but to minister through you! Its time to step up! Hey, its time to make something happen! It's time to take it to the next level! Realize, God wants to bless us more than want to be blessed! God wants us to grow more than we want to grow!!! Do you believe it? Jump in! Dive in! Step up! To make a difference we must be different! To better our future we must disrupt our present! We have not even began to scratch the surface of what God has in store! don't miss it! be right smack dab in the middle of it!

Standing between the dead and the Living....

Numbers 16:48..."And he stood between the dead and the living..."

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

We have a responsibility today!
Who will you come in contact with today who has not heard?
Who is sitting across the room from you right now that does not know?
Who will never hear if you don't tell them?
Who will die and never know if you don't show them?
Who has the holy spirit told you to tell and you have not?

Love wins. Tell them about it!

Are you a life changer???

Who is it that is counting on you???
Who is it that you are investing in???
Who is it that is on there way to heaven today because you followed the leading of the spirit and witnessed to them???
Who is it that will sit in yasm Sunday morning because of you?
Who is it that will sit in church Sunday because of you following up on them?
Who did you encourage this week???
Who was hungry that you fed???
Who was thirsty that you gave drink???
Who did you minister to this week???

Are you a life changer? To make a difference you must be different!
Do you have someone you are pouring into, someone you are praying for??? Who has God placed in your path, so they may see a difference in you and so you can help to make a difference in there life??? Who is at work with you today, or at school with you today that needs someone to share Christ with them today??? Who is it that God has told you to invite to Church??? just one question.......Are you a life changer???

I just want to say AMEN! AMEN! AMEN! to Bro. Montoro's sermon last night! What a great thought! Learning the Word and Living the word IS so important. Here is a little recap of the sermon "Bible College is it for me?"

NO FEAR!!!

Psalms 118:6-9 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what man can do unto me? The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

This passage was in my reading this morning. What a awesome truth. I will not fear what man can do unto me!!! Galatians 1:10 also comes to mind: For do I now persuade men or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Alright! Let them laugh! Let them make fun! Let them accuse! Let them mock! Let them scorn! I will not fear what man can do unto me!!! God is still on the throne this morning! God still blesses those who love, those who forgive, those who follow his Word. Those who seek to be accepted of him! Those who preach and teach his Word! Yea all that live Godly SHALL suffer persecution! Show me man who has never had anything bad said about it him, and I will show you man who has never done anything! You cannot control the lies people say about you, but you can control the truth. Being a part of a Church is being able to forgive and be forgiven over and over again. We need to all make sure there is only one person we try to please, and that is the Lord Himself, high and lifted up. When we please HIM everyone else we need to please IS pleased!!! Praise the Lord for His unfailing, unchanging grace! I will not fear what man can do unto me!

The same chapter says in verse 24: This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Then in verse 29: O give thanks unto the Lord; For he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Is it real to you???

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I love that old song "There is coming a day when no heart aches shall come, no more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye; all is peace for evermore on that happy golden shore, what a day, glorious day that will be! There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, no more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there; and forever I will be with the one who died for me. What a day! Glorious day that will be...."

and last night I look up in the balcony to see no other than PAUL GABLER back in the house!!!!

If you are not currently involved in a care group or ministering in any way, let me know, cause we got all kinds of stuff for people to do. Also continue to be in prayer for the orphan ministry that God will open some doors for us. I am praying for you all!

The Desire to Acquire

If you were in Church last night what a convicting message!

A quote from the sermon that blew my mind:"I would be happy if I just had_______________. Whatever you put in that blank your coveting." Chew on that one for a while, as will I! Contentment. What a great reminder of how, If we have Christ, we have all we need! The scripture said, if we have food and clothing we are good to go. Come on now, I know I am not the only one who has ever struggled with this! What an awesome reminder that Jesus is satisfaction, He is completeness, He is peace, He, is contentment.

New Series Starting This Sunday

LEAVING NEVERLAND! it's time to grow up!!! I hope you will all join us as we study this subject together! Growing spiritually and developing responsibility. I promise this will be a help to all of us. It will challenge us, and motivate us to grow closer to the Lord and will help us as young adults develop into spirit led adults. I hope to see you all on Sunday.

This series is for those who:

Your mom or dad woke you up this morning.
Your mom did your laundry this past week.
Have no idea how to balance your check book.
You are still MADE to come to church.
Your idea of a successful relationship is she didn't break up with you first.
The Bible is just something I rant about on Sunday.
Think all authority is out to get them.
Want to grow up socially and spiritually.
Want to be responsible but are not sure how to be.
Call sin a disease.
Want to make a decision to put away childish things.
Searching for fulfillment.
