Why we Sing
I am working on a Bible study we are going to do eventually and would like to get some of your input. The title of the Lesson is "Why We Sing." The question for this week is, Why do we sing? Why do we corporately sing every week in yasm. Why do you personally sing? Please hit me up and let me know...

the reason i sing is as a worship to God. when i dont have the words to say i can just sing and know that God knows what my heart is feeling. also when i am singing, i feel so close to God, just like he is standing/sitting next to me taking in all the praises i am offering up to him. singing for me is the most sweetest and intimate type of praise and worship and just being in the very presence of God.
I love music, and I love to be able to pour my heart out to God in the form of a song. It's also one way that I truly feel God's spirit moving and personally speaking to me.
i sing because i am free. dead to sin, alive to worship + spread truth

I sing because there is an empty grave. I sing because there is a power that saves. I sing because HIS grace is real to me. Oh, I sing because I am not alone. I sing because one day I'm going HOME where I will sing through all eternity. That's why I sing! :O)
i sing 'cause i want to praise God with something he gave me(my voice).Also it is a form of prayer ,because sometimes u don't have the words to tell the Lord how much u love him ,need him,etc.. The bible gives many examples of people who sing in diferent situations,ones praising God,others 'cause God makes them happy. Also the bible talk about singing in not so good moments too.
God also touch my heart with many songs and i sing them along.

sometmes when i don't have the words otherwise, singing makes me feel closer to GOD ..allows me to give to My LORD and My GOD...
I sing to worship God, the bible references music and singing many times as a form of worship. Worship is devotion, basically how you show your devotion and love toward God through melody and sounds. Music has always been a big part of my life and will always I love God and he loves me too!!
